Native from Medellín-Colombia, Dr. FEDERICO RAMIREZ ZULUAGA MD is known for his genuine kindness, calm voice and special care of his patients. He graduated from University of Antioquia with a dregree of Medic and Surgeon specialized in “Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, Hand and Maxillofacial Surgery ”, he had the oportunity to learn from plastic surgery experts on a national and international level. Later he improved his skills on Facial Aesthetic Surgery through Visiting Plastic Surgery Fellow at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Medicine in the United States. He was also part of Estagio Serviço de Cirurgia Craniofacial do Hospital São Joaquim da Real e Benemérita Sociedade Portuguesa de Beneficencia at São Paulo-Brasil, which strengthened his knowledge on Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He was also Ad Honorem professor at University of Antioquia and Fundación Universitaria San Martin.
He is a member of “Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery– SCCP” since 2007 and also an active member of differet certified organizatios of plastic surgery, such as: Corporación Antioqueña de Cirugía Plástica – CORCIRUPLAST, Federación Ibero-Latinoamericana de Cirugía Plástica – FILACP, Internacional Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery - IPRAS, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery – ISAPS”, ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) since 2018, an american organization that has the highest standars and academic levels to accept their members.
